Angele Etoundi Essamba

Angele Etoundi Essamba is a Cameroon born photographer experienced in varying cultures in which she demonstrates in her work. Angele captures women's features with a recognized grace and style that is her signature. Her exhibits have been seen in the U.S., Cuba, South Africa, Spain, France, Germany, the United Kingdom and many more countries. Angele says, "Photography is for me a need, the need to express and to communicate. As long as the need will exist, I will create."

Angele's distinct focus eliminates all distractions from the essential elements of the image. She is able to create strong images that make strong statements. Women in her photos say, "I am naturally beautiful."

Her use of space is provocative and alluring. Her use of light compliments the total image.  Angele expresses cultural femininity in a way that is not often seen.
