Dorothea Lange

Dorothea Lange was an American born photojournalist known for her descriptive images of the Great Depression. Dorothea put faces and feelings into what was seen as facts and figures. Her images were used by the Farm Security Administration.  Her work greatly influenced what is now called documentary photography.
